Juan José Amell, Esq. (“JJ”) is the founder of Amell Law Firm, PLLC, based in the Spring/Woodlands area of Texas, serving clients nationwide in trademark and business immigration law. He helps businesses, investors, professionals, and individuals secure business visas and protect intellectual property, allowing clients to focus on growing their brands and careers.

JJ, a Houston native, studied international relations at American University and earned his law degree at St. Mary’s University. His legal career includes experience with organizations such as the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Embassy of Brazil, and the Organization of American States (OAS).

JJ's commitment extends to pro bono work, including legal aid for natural disaster victims and support for Lone Star Legal Aid’s Immigration Clinic. Active in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), JJ serves on its Innovation and Technology Committee.

Passionate about travel and fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, JJ celebrates his multicultural heritage and enjoys sports, coffee, and beach days. His mission is to empower clients and uplift his community through integrity, perseverance, and innovation.
